Day 01: Arrival for the gorilla safari Uganda

Arrive for your gorilla safari Uganda and you will be welcomed by our company representative who will then transfer you to your Hotel/Guest House in Entebbe for a short relaxation. Depending on your arrival time, you may spend the afternoon, exploring Entebbe Town on foot. You could choose to visit Uganda Wildlife Education Center, or take a half day boat excursion to Ngamba Island on Lake Victoria to view orphaned chimpanzee and learn a lot from care takers. Overnight at Central Inn Entebbe on Bed and Breakfast Basis.

 

Day 02: Gorilla trekking transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After breakfast, you will set off for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Drive southwards making a stopover at the Equator for some informative talk and photographic opportunity Proceed further south with most of the countryside green and some stop over's in the markets for fresh fruits arrive in time for lunch in Mbarara. After lunch, drive further south to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park arriving late in the evening. This is a full day driving. Dinner and overnight at Buhoma Community Bandas on Full board basis.

 

Day 03: Gorilla Trekking safari

 Early morning, have a light breakfast to give you the energy needed for trekking gorillas. With your walking stick, packed Lunch, water and energy giving snacks, you will be led to the Park head quarters for briefing by Uganda Wildlife Guide about what to expect, the dos and the don'ts while with the mountain Gorillas. Start your gorilla trek that might take you from three to eight hours depending on where they could have slept or moved. Observe, photograph these creatures for one hour and retire to your lodge for Dinner and overnight at Buhoma Community Bandas on Full Board Basis.

 

Day 04: After gorillas, transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After a morning breakfast, start the journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park through the Ishasha Sector. Lunch will be served en route arriving at the lodge late in the evening. Overnight at Institute of Ecology on Full board basis.

 

Day 05: Morning Game Drive and Evening Boat Cruise

A morning wake up call for an early morning cup of tea/coffee with pastries. Our morning safari of Queen Elizabeth National park starts around 7:00am. We depart for a sunrise game drive on the northerly parts of the park along the Kasenyi track. It is at this time that the Big Cats are active on their daily hunts. We will drive around in search of Leopards, Lions, Hyenas, Uganda Kobs and other wildlife Later, return for breakfast and relax by the pool. In the afternoon, take a boat cruise on the Kazinga for solitary Buffalo, Hippo and other animals at the edge of the channel as they cool off. European migrant birds like the terns and gulls congregate here in large flocks. Overnight at Institute of Ecology on Full Board Basis.

 

Day 06: Chimpanzee trekking transfer to Kibale National Park

Early morning drive to Kibale forest National Park, here get a second chance of crossing the Equator, proceed through Kasese with a chance of having a glance at Rwenzori Mountains 'Mountains of the moon' Arriving in time for Lunch. After lunch, go for a briefing at the park headquarters to start the search for chimps and other primates. Your journeys with the experienced guides will give you a lot of insight into the lives of primates and will shock you at how well organized and close to human beings these animals are. Return to the lodge in time for Lunch, dinner and overnight. Rwenzori Guest House.

 

Day 07: End of gorilla trekking and chimpanzee tour

After breakfast, drive through the dry southwestern parts, with stop over's in some cool views of green tea plantations, Villages and lots of green, markets for fresh fruits interacting with the locals. Continue to Entebbe through Mubende arriving late in the afternoon. Transfer to the hotel or Airport for your next flight out.
